What it is
A cheap Shahed-like drone launched by the dozen alongside real strike drones. Its job is to overload air defence and distract mobile fire teams. According to Militarnyi, inside there is only a plywood and foam fuselage, an engine, a primitive on-board computer and a polyethylene fuel tank.
What it means for you
From the ground a Gerbera cannot be told apart from a Shahed, and some of them carry 3–5 kg of explosives. So react the same way as to a strike drone. Do not touch the debris.

What to do
- 1When you hear the “Air raid alert!” signal, go to the nearest shelter at once. Find out in advance where it is near your home and work.
- 2If you cannot reach a shelter, move to a room without windows and follow the “two walls” rule.
- 3Agree with your family on what to do and where to meet if the phone network or the power goes down.
A marker on our map may appear late or not at all. Go by the siren, not by the map.
